Member of the orchestra

Kan studied at the violin and then flute classes of the musical school; he graduated from the St. Petersburg N. Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory (Professor O. Chernyadieva’s class). He is award recipient at the International Wind Instrument Competition (Tolyatti, 1997). In 1998 – 1999, he performed with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (Seoul, South Korea) and had a solo concert at the Khim-Ho Gallery in the South Korea. In 2002, he was awarded with the Grand Prix of the International Festival (Ulsan, South Korea). In 2003, he was honored with the Grand Prix of the International Woodwind Instrument Competition (Kyiv, Ukraine). He carries out creative activities, performs solo as well as together with various ensembles.
He was admitted to the Alexandrinsky Theater in 2004 and is engaged in the following performances: "The Double" Ф.М. Достоевского (director Valery Fokin), "The Ivans" by N. Gogol (director Andrey Moguchy), "MAN EQUALS MAN" by B. Brecht (director Yury Butusov), Hamlet by W. Shakespeare (director Valery Fokin, 2010).
