In 2009, Polamishev graduated from the Shchukin Theater Institute (Valery V. Fokin and M.A. Panteleyeva’s class). His roles in diploma performances included: Kondraty ("Savva. IGNIS SANNAT" by L. Andreyev, director N. Rishchin), Page ("Rui Blaz" by V. Hugo, Director A. Levisky), Ivan yakovlevich ("The Nose" by N. Gogol, Director O. Gerasimov); he participated in the musicle “Contrasts” (Director V. Ivanov). In the 2009/2010 season he had served at the Central Academy Theater of the Russian Army.

Polamishev was admitted to the Alexandrinsky Theater in August 2010. He was introduced to N. Gogol’s “The Inspector General” in the role of Post Master and A. Chekhov’s “The Seagull” in the role of Lost Person.  He is engaged in the group scenes of the performance “Hamlet” by W. Shakespeare (Director V. Fokin ).  In the performance “Your Gogol” he plays the role of Nikolay Gogol (Director V. Fokin, 2011). In the season of 2011/2012, he was introduced to the role of Kochkarev in N. Gogol’s “The Marriage” (Director V. Fokin).

His roles in the cinema included: Nickolay V. Gogol ("Heat Haze," Director N. khudyakov, 2008), Vasya ("A Hitch-hiking Trip,” Director A. Pankratov-Bely, 2008).
