Pavel Olegovich YURINOV
(birthday – 03. 01. 1982)
In 2006 Pavel Yurinov graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts (V. Felshtinsky`s studio).
He has played a lot in the training and diploma performances. Among his works there are Capulet (Romeo and Juliet. Sketches About Love and Hate after W. Shakespeare, directed by V. Felshtinsky); Barsukov (U written by O. Mukhina, directed by G.Byzgu); ship passenger (A Lesson a la Jazz, directed by U. Vasilkov); Captain (Goodbye, boys after Bulat Okudzhava); Nefed Stepanovich (Lonely Foxtrot written by A. Platonov, directed by V. Senin); Marmeladov (Crime and Punishment written by F. Dostoevsky, directed by A. Ivanova) the Mayor (Flying over the alms-house after N. Gogol, directed by A. Prikotenko)
He was taken to the group of trainee actors of the Alexandrinsky Theatre after finishing the Theatre Academy. His debut on the stage of the Theatre was a part of doctor Gibner in Valery Fokin`s production of The Inspector General (after N. V. Gogol).
The actor’s repertoire also includes: Doctor (The Living Corps by L. Tolstoy, Director Valery Fokin, 2006); Spider (The Fly after Joseph Brodsky’s poem with the same name and Korney Chukovsly’s Mukha-Tsokotukha (The Clattering Fly) fairy-tale, Director Oleg Eremin, 2007); Yaichnitsa (Omelet) (The Marriage by N. Gogol, Director Valery Fokin, 2008); Worker Yefim (Uncle Vanya by A. Chekhov, Director Andrey Serban, 2009); he is also engaged in mass scenes in the performance Ksenia. The History of Love by V. Levanov (Director Valery Fokin, 2009) and was introduced in the roles of Osip to the performance The Inspector General and of the Judge to the performance The Ivans after N. Gogol’s The Story How Ivan Ivanovich Quarreled with Ivan Nikiforovich and other N. Gogol’s writings (Director Andrey Moguchy), Laertes (Hamlet by W.Shakespeare, Director Valery Fokin, 2010).
In the performance “The Taming of the Shrew” by W. Shakespeare (Director Oskaras Korshunovas, 2010), he plays the role of an actor from the Lord’s troupe assuming the role of Grumio, Petrucihio’s servant and his dedicated assistant in all the tricks on taming Katharina. In Andrey Moguchy and K. Filippov’s performance “The Fortune” he plays the role of Tiltil, a boy heading off for a dangerous trip after the Blue Bird to the Kingdom of Dead (Director Andrey Moguchy, 2011).
