Alexandra Tikhomirova, a native of Saratov, graduated from the Saratov Choreography School in 1991. In 1991 – 1995, she danced in the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky Theater’s Maly Ballet under the guidance of Oleg Vinogradov. In 2000, she graduated from the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory (Choreography Department) majoring in coaching choreography. As an assistant pedagogue of the Department of Plastic Education of the State Academy of Theater Arts she taught the discipline of dance at the master shops of V. Filshtinsky, Yu. Krasovsky, and L. Dodin since 1997. As of January 2001, Tikhomirova has worked as pedagogue at the Department of Plastic Education of the State Academy of Theater Arts named after N. Cherkasov. She was the tutoring pedagogue for G. Trostyanetsky and V. Retsepter’s classes. In 2001 – 2006, she worked as coaching pedagogue at the ballet troupe under the guidance of Nikita Dolgushin at the State Opera and Ballet Theater of the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory. Since February 2006, Tikhomirova is the coaching pedagogue of the St. Petersburg State Academy Yakobson Ballet under the guidance of Yu. Petukhov.
