Yarmolnik graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute (Department of Applied Art). In 1983-85, she worked as production designer at the All-Union Circus Directorate.

As a costume designer, she cooperated with such directors and stage designers as O. Tabakov, S. Zhenovach, Y. Kamelkovich, M. Yefremov, A. Galin, V. Fokin, B. Messerer, D. Borovsky, A. Borovsky, A. Mitta.

Her latest jobs include: “The Truth Is Good, but Happiness Is Better” (Maly Theater), “From Thursday till Thursday” (O. Tabakov’s Studio Theater), “Children?!” (Theater in Malaya Bronnaya). She has created costumes for variety shows and sportive events. As a couturier, she has presented several successful collections.
