On October 7, 2009, a creative soiree of People’s Artist of Russia Nikolay Marton dedicated to his 75th birthday will take place at the St. Petersburg Capella. The program of the soiree will include scenes from performances, monologues, reading of the Russian poetry of XIX-XX centuries. Sergey Prokofiev’s “Ivan the Terrible” oratorio for the choir, orchestra and reciter will be performed in the second part of the jubilee concert. The Capella’s choir and orchestra under conduction of People’s Artist of the USSR Vladislav Chernushenko will take part in the concert. The creative jubilee is included in the cycle of the “Meetings at the Capella.” The concert will start at 7 PM. Tickets are available at the Capella’s ticket office.
