On November 26, 2009, the list of nominees for the “Proryv” city theater award was announced at the Committee of Culture. Young actors of the Alexandrinsky Theater were among those: Yanina Lakoba (nomination of “The best young actress of a drama theater”) for the role of Ksenia in the performance “Ksenia. The History of Love” and for the role of Sonya in the “Uncle Vanya” performance; and Dmitry Lysenkov (nomination of “The best young actor of a drama theater”) for the role of Ivan I. Telegin in the “Uncle Vanya” performance.
An authoritative jury will make its decision on the actual names of laureates; prominent theater figures of St. Petersburg, actors and directors are members of the jury: Andrey Moguchy, Garold Strelkov, Maxim Isayev, Olga Antonova, Elena Popova, Emil Kapelyush, Alexander Novikov, Alexander Bargman, Alexander Platunov, Zhanna Zaretskaya, Chairman of the Committee of Culture Anton Gubankov; Moscow theater critics Pavel Rudnev and Roman Dolzhansky are also in the Jury.
Wrap-up meeting and award ceremony for the laureates will take place on January 13, 2010, at the Comedienne’s Shelter Theater.
