“Monologues at the Tzar’s Lobby” at “The Oldest Russian Theatres in Kaluga” Festival
Performances of the outstanding masters of the Alexandrinsky Stage from the “Monologues at the Tzar’s lobby” cycle will take part in the programme of the 6th All-Russia Theatre Festival “The Oldest Russian theatres in Kaluga.” The Alexandrinsky Theatre’s performances will be presented on the Small Stage of the Kaluga Regional Drama Theatre: on September 17, it will be People’s Artist of Russia Sergey Parshin’s Yearning to Live and on September 18, People’s Artist of Russia Nickolay Marton’s Faces and Roles. Prior to the performance on September 18, Nickolay Marton will give a master-class entitled “All the Sons of Mine (the roles played and not played)” at 11.00 a.m.
