Saint Petersburg premiere of an interactive show about money

Producer for the Russian adaptation – Fyodor Eliutin

12 tables | 84 gamblers | 110 min.

‘We invite you to play a global economic game simulation. Get under the skin of the well-to-do the 1%, the super rich of this world. The ones who pull the strings, the faces we never get to see. Take your seat and call the shots. You are in the centre of our economic system. You shape the course. You are an insider.’

Spectators come into the hall and take their seats at the tables, for seven persons each. From now on they become gamblers and each table becomes an isolated economic system. Under the guidance of a Moderator, or rather a Croupier, gamblers stake.

£¥€$ (Lies) is a bright demonstration of how the machine of economics functions. This performance models global financial processes, which however may occur in the real world at any moment of time. If you come, please take some money in cash. And get ready to bet.

Production of £¥€$ (Lies) won the first prize at the acclaimed Edinburgh Festival Fringe theatre forum.
