‘Russia In A. Alphabet’ is a fair-like performance, requiring specific declamation, specific text, specific music. This is the reason why ‘Russia In A. Alphabet’ is accompanied by selected tracks from ‘The Soldier's Tale’ by Igor Stravinsky. This opus corresponds to the aesthetics of fair, bazaar, street theatre.
‘Russia In A. Alphabet’ is a set of short poems, dedicated to each letter of the Russian alphabet. This production hails the very inscription of letters, embodied in the art of calligraphy.
