‘When We Meet Again’ is both film, played on virtual reality goggles, and one-to-one live performance. It is a journey and encounter, made possible by technologies, when spectator (and a performer at the same time) is blinded and disoriented. His senses are displaced by what he hears and sees what does not exist in reality. The viewer is transported into a mixed world where the fiction feels real and vice-versa. The brain is tricked into the illusion of being inside a new body and in a strange space.
The idea of this performance is to demonstrate how the impact advanced audiovisual technologies can shape human and his/her social interactions, and how the body functions (and de-functions) in times of total media penetration into our life.
