Actress of theater and cinema, theater director.
In 2008 she graduated from the directing faculty of Yerevan Institute of Theater and Cinematography.
She works at the Yerevan State Puppet Theater as a director and at the Edgar Elbakyan Drama and Comedy Theater as an actress and director. She lectures at the Armenian State Pedagogical University.
Lili Elbakyan was awarded by the Union of Theatrical Figures of Armenia as the best young actress of 2010.
In 2010, the play "American Ajabsandal" staged by Lili Elbakyan at the Edgar Elbakyan Drama and Comedy Theater was recognized as the best play at the Aghasi Ayvazyan Theater Festival. In 2011, Lili Elbakyan was awarded by the Union of Theater Workers of Armenia as the best young director for the same play.
Among her productions staged at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater are "Cold Heart", "Decameron", "Cinderella".
On September 30, 2023 in the program of the XIV International Theatre Festival "Alexandrinsky" will be shown Lili Elbakyan's play "Decameron", staged at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre (Armenia).
