Director, choreographer, teacher. Graduated in 2005 from the St. Petersburg Theater Academy, course of G. M. Kozlov. Stages performances in different theaters of the country.
Among his recent works: "Earth" (New Stage of Alexandrinsky Theater), "The Idiot" and "Circus" (Theater of Nations, Moscow).
Maxim Didenko's productions have been repeatedly nominated for prestigious professional awards: Golden Mask, Golden Sofit, Breakthrough and the Sergei Kuryokhin Prize. Winner of the St. Petersburg theater award for young people "Breakthrough 2014" in the nomination "Best Director" for the performance "Overcoat. Ballet" (KontArt Production Center, St. Petersburg), winner of the "Snob. Made in Russia-2016" in the category "Theater" for the performance "Pasternak. My Sister is Life" (Gogol Center, Moscow).
In the special program of the XI International Theatre Festival "Alexandrinsky" were presented performances of the Theatre "Praktika" directed by Maxim Didenko "Chapaev and emptiness" (10,11,12,13 September 2017) and "Red Cavalry" (14, 15, 16 September 2017).
