He studied Visual arts and has designed for opera, concerts, theatre performances, and contemporary art exhibitions during ten years. In 2003, he created Vivarium Studio in Paris, a laboratory for theatrical innovation, which features painters, actors, dancers, musicians. He conceives and stages shows, which try to develop a contemporary dramaturgy based on a strong connection between space, set, and bodies. The sets often become working studios or "vivarium spaces" that present a human microcosm. He wrote, designed and directed La Démangeaison des Ailes, 2003 [The Itching of the Wings], Des Expériences (2004), D’après Nature (2006), L’Effet de Serge (2007), La Mélancolie des dragons (2008), and Big Bang (2010). Since 2004, the performances are produced and presented both in France and abroad. In 2011, he premiered Pièce pour la technique du Schauspiel de Hanovre for the theatre permanent technical crew. In 2012, he has been invited by the Pavillon du Palais de Tokyo to create a show in collaboration with the ten artists and curators in residency. The same year, he contributed to the Hebbel am Ufer (HAU, Berlin) collective production Infinite Jest, a novel by David
Foster Wallace, with a specific creation at Berlin Institut fur Mikrobiologie und Hygiene. He also developed performative forms, interventions in public spaces, and installation for contemporary art exhibitions. He edited four booklets: A few actions in natural environments (2005), Simple Thoughts about the presence of nature in urban environments (2006), Thinking about the end of the world in costume by the sea (2009), Bivouac (2011). He is regularly invited to curate the artistic program of events, such as for the Festival TJCC at Théâtre de Gennevilliers in 2012-2014. In 2013, he creates Anamorphosis with four Japanese actresses at Komaba Agora Theatre in Tokyo, as well as Swamp Club, a new piece produced on the occasion of the 10thanniversary of Vivarium Studio. In 2014, he will create a new pièce with children from 8 to 11 years old at Festival Theatre der Welt (Mannheim, Germany), following on the shows collection directed by Alain Platel, Tim Etchells, or Gob Squad.
