SHANXI ACADEMY OF ARTS. SHANXI HUAJIN DANCE DRAMA ENSEMBLE
Shanxi Huajin Dance Drama Ensemble was founded in 2005 at the initiative of Shanxi Academy of Arts, as part of the implementation of the "Building a Cultural Province" plan initiated by the Shanxi Provincial Government. Back home, the establishment of the ensemble was a major achievement of the Academy of Arts in realizing the forms of higher professional education based on the principle of combining working and learning processes. "Huajin" works on the production of large-format national dance pieces. The debut performance of the group was "Wild Unabi", after the success of which "Life in the Theater" was staged. Today this performance is well known not only in the homeland. As part of cultural exchange, the Ensemble has represented China in America, Australia, France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Bahrain and other countries. At home, "Huajin" constantly participates in large-scale national shows, was engaged in such a significant music and dance epic as "Road of Revolution" for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The ensemble has been awarded the title of "Honorary Collective of the National Cultural System" and has a large number of professional awards.
At the IX Alexandrinsky Festival the Ensemble "Shanxi Huajin" presented the performance "Life in the Theater" directed by Xing Shimiao (October 7, 8 and 9, 2015. Main stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre).
