Republika Srpska
Đurđa Tešić was born in Belgrade. In 2002 she graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Art, specializing in theater directing. She has staged plays based on modern and classical domestic and foreign authors on the stages of the National Theater in Belgrade, Bitef Theater, Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad, Atelier Atelier in Novi Sad. The National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska, the Cultural Center of Tivat, the Theatre and Opera "Madlenianum", the National Theatre of Subotica, the National Theatre of Subotica, the Prijedor Theatre and the National Theatre of Niš.
At the National Theater of Republika Srpska she staged the following productions: The House of Bernarda Alba (F.G. Lorca), Freken Julia (A. Strindberg), Three Sisters (A.P. Chekhov), Marriage and Marriage (J.S. Popovića), Deception (M. Glišić), School for Wives (J.-B.P. Moliere).
In 2010 she received the Special Award for New Theater Trends at the TIBA International Festival (the play Lord of the Flies), and in 2019 the Ljubomir Muci Draskic Directing Award (the play This Will Be Different).
At the XV International Alexandrinsky Festival will be presented the performance of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska "Miss" directed by Durda Tešić (September 1, 2, 2024. New stage named after Vs. Meyerhold Alexandrinsky Theater).
