The best and the hardest time in a theatre is the premiere of the new performance. All the members of the company, from leading actors to mass scenes actors eager to be noticed, merge into a single body with a single will. Everything else is devoid of importance and is shifted into background as everyone welcomes the premier with a Hooray! The pre-first night fuss is going on backstage, when the staging and designer team is there to watch the rehearsals, when assistant directors lean out of the booth, nervous about your next mise en scene, with everybody in a state and nobody bothers about routine things anymore… It is worth serving at a theatre to experience this feeling of unity!
