Valery Fokin’s ‘Crocodile’ to enter the programme of VI St. Peterburg international cultural forum
Today the organizing committee of St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum unveiled the wide-scale festival programme. The performance by Artistic Director of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, based on F. Dostoyevsky’s satire ‘Crocodile’ (Hungarian National Theatre), is among other vivid events of the festival.
This production is a fruit of creative exchange: in 2016 Attila Vidnyansky, an Artistic Director of the Hungarian National Theatre, directed ‘Crime and Punisment’ for Alexandrinsky theatre, which premiered during X International Alexandrinsky Theatre Festival in 2016.
The Forum will last from November 16th to 18th, 2017. In a way its Theatre Section continues the XI International Alexandrinsky Theatre Festival. Valery Fokin is the Head of the section.
