Born in 1960, Ren Ming is Director General of the Beijing People’s Art Theatre, PRC first category director. In 1987, he graduated from the Central Drama Academy (Beijing). He is recipient of the PRC State Council Award, the Asian Cultural Council Award, and State Awards for the achievements in theatre productions and many other awards.
He had created performances: An Uncle from Beijing, The Fortune of the Family, Mutiny, In Love, Waiting for Godot, Sunrise, Wanfuzing, Kosieng, The Football Club, I love Peach Flowers, A Man’s Confession, Marital Agreement, Irish Coffee, The Lacquer Has Not Dried Out, Thief Hunt, The Sky in Peach Flowers, Poison, Beijing in 1949, Life, and many others.
At the Tenth International Alexandrinsky Festival, Ren Ming’s performance after Go Zikhun’s script Bosom Friends will be presented (September 16, 17, and 18 2016; Major Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre).
